Guild Rules
Honor and integrity above all
1. Sequel members play fair in accordance with EQ and server rules. That means
- respecting other’s camps
- no kill stealing
- no intentional training
- no ninja looting
- no using of exploits and cheats
- no trades for real life money
Also just plain being an annoying or mean person will not be tolerated.
2. Joining Sequel:
- Minimum level required to join Sequel is 85.
- Time of probation is 4-6 weeks. Within or at the end of this period an applicant can be removed instantly for any reason that the leadership deems appropriate.
- NO trial member will be eligible for any guild bank items.
- NO trial members will have epic encounters scheduled for them.
- Membership in an other guild beside Sequel with alternate characters (including second account) will not be tolerated.
- When a main character leaves Sequel, his alternate characters will be deguilded too.
- Members not playing at all will be deguilded after 30 days unless you inform us in advance via the Play Schedule forum.
3. Members are expected to visit the guild site regularly. All members will create a Magelo profile, make their roster entry, import Magelo to the local profile and keep it updated.
Furthermore, it is assumed that all members have read the Guild Charter/Raid Rules and confirm their consent by remaining members of Sequel.
4. You are expected that only YOU are playing your characters. No account sharing! Certain exceptions MAY be made at the discretion of the leadership but any other violation can result in immediate removal of the offending toon.
5. No Political or Religious discussion in guild chat.
In conflicts with players outside guild do not use /ooc but tells, public contentions will hurt the guild’s reputation.
6.
NO BEGGING!
That means not only asking for money but also for equipment.
If you are in need of a port or a rez, ask in guild chat once, but do not spam the guild chat with your requests. If you do not get an answer take it as a NO. Do not expect druids, wizards, clerics, paladins or necros are only waiting to be at your service anytime. Even if they are not busy in fighting they i.e. might be doing tradeskill combines and such. If they do not want to port or rez atm, they are not expected to.
7. Do not auction in guild chat. You can use the guild site if you have something to share. For regular prices please sell your items at bazaar. Please do not make profit from your guild mates.
8. No whining about game issues. Players grouping with guild mates or players outside guild do that in their own responsibility. It is up to the group to set their agreements, do not forget to clear up everything before you start hunting. Officers and leader will not encroach in your hunting groups. Please be aware: Sequel is not a baby-sitting service.
9. Sequel has a guild bank (items from raids, hunting groups or donations from guild members). These items can be purchased with DKP. Characters without complete and up to date roster entry cannot get items from guild bank.
10. A Sequel member causing problems and breaking the rules will get a warning. In case of recurrence he/she will be deguilded. In worst case the leadership is reserving the right to disband a member instantly.
Raid Rules
1. You are not required to raid, but it is recommended that you join scheduled raids. This is a "once in a while" type of thing, think of it as a sick day, abuse of this will result in removal.
2. All raid communication is done with the PoP raid system. If you do not have PoP we urge you to get it as soon as possible.
3. Be on time. We set a time to start – you should be there 10 minutes before the scheduled time.
4. No spam in raid channel, keep it as quiet as possible.
5. No tells to the raid leader unless you are a group leader.
6.
Listen and follow instructions!
Never question an order by the raid leader, follow blindly. You can discuss any issues/suggestions after the raid is called.
7. You are required to put all your concentration on the raid, i.e. do not read websites on your second computer and such. Avoid going afk during the raid for more than a few minutes.
8. All loot is assigned via the DKP system,
no bitching and whining! A MAXIMUM of TWO items can be awarded during a given raid night/day. If you have reached your maximum, please refrain from sending tells for subsequent items.
9. Do not gate or zone out during a raid except you are asked to do so by the raid leader. We fight together, we win together or we will die together. You will be rezzed, don’t maroon your guild mates!
Any of the above is subject to change at the discretion of the leadership of Sequel
